TVA/Huntsville Utilities Assists Sac's Kitchen
Sac’s Kitchen cooks delicious soul food, so we were excited to serve up some energy savings for this North Huntsville, AL hot spot thanks to our new Community Centered Growth (CCG) pilot in partnership with Huntsville Utilities. When margins are slim, energy efficient technologies provided through CCG help small businesses like Sac’s Kitchen save money on their utility bills so they can continue feeding their community. When co-owner Sarah Douglas learned she would receive her first energy-efficient commercial stove, Douglas recalled falling to her knees, saying, “Thank God, somebody is helping us. It’s amazing.”
